i picked up a very nice 89 f250 4x4 5 speed with a 5.8l gas burner. 12 inch lift kit straight axle swap barely a blemish in the paint or a dent. for 1000$ i have a complete 24 valve motor with 12 valve front timing cover sittin in the barn needs freshened up and stuff here and there to be a excellent motor. i looked on fordcummins and destroked a little bit but who has done this with a gas motor. i know i will need motor mounts an adapter place and different clutch i would assume the shaft will work. any ideas or tips would help. if i get where i need to be with knowledge ill do a whole thread about swapping motors when i get back from bootcamp.
