Default Windshield Wipers???

They don't work. I got power to the motor. Took the motor cover off. Everything looks fine. I hear a click when I turn them on. Any ideas? Salvage yard wants $60 for the setup.

They are connected. I believe the issue is with the wiper control module. anyway I can wire them up for just an on or off position you think?

The wiper governor under the dash on the driver side clicks wildly. I have tried to hook jumper wires to the wiper motor to get it to move at all. Still nothing. The brushes are still in good shape. Seems to turn pretty easily. Replace the motor or the governor? The switch seems to be in good shape. any one encounter anything similar?

check the linkages to see if anything is bound up, or something jammed in there to bind it up.

1. disconnect it at the motor and move the wipers with your hand.

2. try the motor with the linkage disconnected

is the motor getting power to it from the truck

I can spin the armature very easily by hand with the motor case removed. I don't believe it is bound up. The motor has got 12v to it when I ground it to the block. When I ground from the hot wire to a ground wire connected to the motor it shows 5v. I have connected the ground wire for the wiper motor directly to to the battery, still nothing. I am going to removed the motor from the linkage and run jumper wires from the battery to see if it spins at all. I believe the wiper governor is also an issue. It clicks wildly all the time.

Got them working on high and thats it. Wiper motor was rusted pretty good. Lubed it up and it appears to be working with no issues.
