Hi there.
This is for the workin class of trucks not the romp and stompers.
How does the 6.7L cummins do pullin? and are thet as good as the 5.9L and are they worth a damn at all.
We haul cattle up mountain passes all the time not up a 100 foot hills and we endure -20 to -40 degrees.
My next question is what fuel milage you gettin out of em and what the pros and cons.
Were lookin to replace our Ford 6.0L powerjoke. .
Be glade to hear you imput thanks guys.

My 6.7 is my pulling/ daily driver. With the exhaust brake and 6spd I wouldnt pull with anything else. I am going to a double disk clutch. I have done all the deletes with full 4 inch exhaust, AFE intake, and Mini Maxx programmer. The exhaust brake also helps warm up the motor in colder weather so in the SLV that would be very, very helpful to you. I pulled the same amount of hay with both of my trucks, little over 18K pounds, and the 6.7 pulled easier then my 24v. 6.7 just feels to have alot more low end grunt. Im getting 20-22 mpgs when empty.

You will love the exhaust brake!!
I have 3.73 gears with the auto. Miss the manual trans.
If you go with a auto go with the 4.10 gears. My truck really strugles to get my 32 foot cattle trailer rolling with 16 cows. Once your going its fine that is why i wish i had 4.10's
Fuel milage rreally depends how fast you drive. I will get 20 with my dually at 55-60 probably 15-16 at 80. I also have a H&S with deletes. With my stock trailer hooked on I will get between 9-10 depending on wind
I just got rid of a 05 6.0 F350, that was a dog pulling anything. I am surprised you could make it up a mountain pulling a load of cattle.
