Default EGR delete on '88 7.3?

Was wondering if deleting my EGR would do me any good performance wise? Also, who sells a good, cheap kit?

There is no EGR on the IDI's. You have a CDR(crankcase depression regulator). You will not gain any performance by removing it. You can do what is known as an RDT(road draft tube) and just run the hose so the fumes are released into the air instead of the engine. The only real benefit I am aware of in doing this is not having the oil mist dirty up your intake.

you can route it into the exhaust.. kinda like the venturi effect. ive done this on mine and it works well. only downfall is at a warm idle the exhaust smokes pretty good (my blowby )
