Default church bus

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I have a 1983 international 6.9 that will not idle back. Took pump off and had rebuilt. Shop could not find anything causing problem but rebuilt anyway. Low idle controls checked out and are working fine on pump. There is a sensor behind water pump and in front of timing gear with the same wiring harness as the idle controls on pump, is this an idle control also?

easy way to test is to unhook the cold idle solinoid. it is on the pass side of the pump, right next to the thermostat housing. it pushes on the throttle.
