Default Mbrp 5inch exhaust

Just got the mbrp turbo back 5 inch turn down exhaust installed on my truck. Sounds awesome at idle and when you get on it. I put the delete pipe on it because I didnt think it would be loud enough. Big mistake. When you are driving along at about 1800 rpms the resinating almost makes my ears bleed. Awesome exhaust but save your money on the delete pipe.

Same here. Right around 1800rpm with a load it is stupid.... I'm thinking about getting a 5 inch high flow muffler and installing a gate before it to open it up when I want to screw around and close it for towing

I kick myself because I paid $100 for the delete pipe and I'm going to be taking it off. Its t409.

I got the muffler too. The delete pipe was extra.

I made the same mistake also. Thought it'd be better and then couldn't take it and changed back. Best way to find out is to try it.

I did cause it was just too loud for me straight piped. I know lot of people like it louder the better but I couldn't even talk on the phone while driving. After I got fed up with it being so loud, I dropped back down to 4" duals. I just wanted to mix it up. Equal oppertunity smoker in traffic. Lol. But honestly I preferred the muffler.

Hi Guys : just so I'll under stand, if you keep muffler and use delete pipe it is still very loud? I was wanting to remove my cc but don't want the truck overly loud..

Keep muffler to keep the drone from killing u in cab. Lose the cat. It's a waste.
