the guy i work with has a 3500 dually and wants to delete the dpf but he does not want add any more hp he just want the regen cycle gone. the truck has 100,000 miles on it. i was looking at this

another option which has more options down the road is using an AutoCal and EFI Live

basicly allows remote tuning via email and would give unlimited tuning ability for around the same cost

 

the thing is he does not want any more power what ever it takes to get rid of the dpf. the truck is soon just going to be his fram truck because he is buy another 3500. so it will have a lot of idle time on it thats why he wants to delete the dpf. it would be a waste of money to buy the efi live.

 

for the price of that he might as well get a Quadzilla or PPE tuner, at least if he wants a little more towing power then hes got it, thats $430 for something that turns off the dpf....

efi live also gives the option of turning off the egr and post injection events as well as the ability to add a little more boost without adding any fuel basicly this all adds up to better milage in the end
