Depends on how I drive, I can get from 15mpg to 22mpg hand calculated, but if need to go 60mph, and keep the rpms under 2000 when accelerating

my mods are stock straight pipe, EFI LIVE DSP5 tune from duramax tuner, modified stock airbox, LT256/75R16 tires

12!!!! wow! i know mine isn't a lbz but i get around 22-23 consistantly driving it normal everyday highway/city mix.
what helped mine the most is by far the efilive. i have an intake, boost valve and straightpiped thats about all.

seems that lb7's get the best fuel economy. i run mine on the street performance tune for best mileage and don't realy take it easy on it.

I had the same cummins loved it. But the tranny was about to go out. And stock vs stock the lbz has more power. But man you couldnt beat the cummims fuel milage.

This mileage you state is exactly what mine gets with my EFI live tune as well as makes more power than your 12v, and it has been exemplary in the reliability area, so your point is invalid, but thanks for playing
