Default The Best Additive

Well Ive been reading about using additives in my diesel. I have been using Power Service Diesel Klean but I thought I try 2 cycle oil as I can get it cheaper than Power Service. Whats the best to use? ATF is out of the question as the number of pros is about the same as cons. Also guys that use 2 cycle what ratio do you use? I just have to add something as the ULSD is from hell on my vp and injectors.

Any thing guys?

There are many opinions on what to use, and no one product is "the best". "The best" is what works for you and your application. For myself, it's Stanadyne.

Not only do they make fuel additives, they make fuel injection parts as well. I think its safe to trust a company that makes injections pumps to make a fuel additive. If Bosch made a additive, I'd probably run it.

I run one a buddy of mine gets from work, Its a Chrysler product made for cummins engines. My buddy is a field tech with Rocky Mountain Cummins and that is all the use in there engines. Seems to work very good for my pickup. I don't have a bottle but when I get another one I will take a pic and post.

Started using Stanadyne when the truck started missing and white smoking and it worked for a while then quit.
I read some "study" a company did and 2-stroke came out in one of the top so I started using it with every fill-up and never had the problem since.

for the lubricity factor ya cannot beat 2 cycle oil and its dirt cheap too, for a winter anti-gel I use Stanadyne too in addition to the 2 cycle
