last night i pulled my are box to get my turbo clamp nice and tight then took it for a spin to make sure no more leak ran great. This morning went to go to work and truck wont shift out of second. ran codes got DTC 81 shift solenoid circuit fault. What causes this and how do i fix it

Ok went out truck started up just like always went for a ride and shifted fine. Everything worked fine. i need to try and figure this out so it doesnt happen again. it sucks not knowing if my truck will shift

 

check all your grounds and ckeck the plugs at trans could have been just fuke thing that happen

 

ya thats what i thought. But it happened twice now. I cleaned the grounds and replaced the coolent temp sensor. So far it hasnt done it again.
