What kiinda mods would everyone think is needed to be around 550 RWHP
I already have a built tranny. its questionable though because the tech who built it used ray besto clutchs and well i never really heard of them never heard good nor bad. i have edge evo race cold aid intake and exhuast. thats about it. my fastest 1/4 time was a 13.5 at 104. and an 1/8 at 8.7

 

I would say a turbo upgrade would be the best for you as 550hp is gonna run some big EGTS . Next I would get a EFI tune with a DSP 5 and a lift pump.

 

lift pump like an airdog or FASS

 

Custom EFI live tuning and a lift pump should get you to low 500's, as long as the tranny holds it. Turbo upgrade to get higher than that.

 

i have an 08 lmm with a banks intercooler efi live 4inch straight pipe,cold air ppe race valves,mbrp down pipe , and a trans go shift kit and im makeing 550hp 1000tq and get 23.5mpg

 

If it was me I would go with compound turbos, lift pump and efi live.

Egt will be much lower. Wont sacrifice spooling and much more fun than a larger single
