Ok, I dont know if there is a post like this, if there is, I'm sorry.

I got a 1995 F350 7.3 power stroke with a 5 speed manual tranny. Had a fuel leak a few weeks back, changed out the pump, filter and hoses. After all that, it cranked up and was able to drive it about 4 miles from the housr before it went out. Had a guy stop and gave me a push start and drove it home. Since that day, it turns over but wont start.

I search but have not found no leaks and every thing is tighten. Was told to chang the cam poss. censor, did it and still wont krank. This is my first deisel.....so dont be to rough please.

Oh, and if some one knows about the motor.............between the filter house and pump there is a censor............can some one please tell me the name of it and what it is for.

 

First thing I would do is see if there are any codes. If you dont have one go to oreillys, auto zone ect. tell them you want to borrow there scan tool. Thay might charge you alittle, but it will be worth it.

 

This is great advice, but O'reillys and stores like that usually don't have scanners that will work with our trucks... Need to find someone with AE...
