Will the tow setting make my truck get better fuel mileage or is it just the 100 horse tune? I probably need gauges though if im going to run the 100 horse tune. Or can I be easy on my truck with the 100 horse tune to not to have to get gauges for a while. So i can get better fuel mileage.

 

I have the trinity and i get the best on extreme and unless u stay on it it for awhile the temps. really never move. I know on tow people say it runs a lil hotter than the other tunes. The trinity has the same mods as the predtor but it is all touch screen with gauges and all that good stuff. But yeah I get 25mpg with 20s with 35s on extreme so... I hoped that helped u a little.

 

Ive also heard of the RKL tune what is this tune?

These tunes are downloadable from diablosports web site and range from 160 to 230 hp, mainly for those looking to get a little more out of their investment in the product. They consist of four tunes so you can pick one or all four. As far as mileage goes I get about 23 and the ole lady gets almost 25, so good luck

Man I hated the diablo sport biggest waist of money I ever spent it will f##k up your pcm if your not ca reful plus they dont back there product if I were you guys id upgrade to a smarty or for VP44 id say quadzilla adrenaline is the best idk if dia Blow even makes a tuner for vp engines

 

I get the best mileage with my 230 custom tune and myp8 on half...

 

How hard is it to do custom tuning because im kinda scared ill mess something up if i try.

 

The "custom" tunes are nowhere near the tuneablilty of the smarty ssr or EFI live. You send diablo sport your stock backup and tell them what you have done to your truck and they send you tunes back via email you upload them into the tool and into your truck....its super easy
