going to look at at 05 2500 with four wheeled drive trailer tow with 70,000 miles car fax good but emmisones recall. what scarys me is an auto ive heard there junk what do i need to do or look at? need help only had dodge gassers with manuel trans. want a SMOKER BAD! Thanks Ron

 

the emissions recall is nothing to worry about alot of people hacked the stuff of and straight piped them so no worries there as far as the trany goes if your not going to hot rod it and mke tons of power a stock trans will do fine now towing heavy alot with it you will want to look at upgraded tc and vb or at least a shift kit to firm up the shifting auto transmissions will eventually wear out its fact of life but regular service and tacking care of them extends the life another thing i think is a must is a deep sump trans pan with a drain plug makes it easier to service and extra fluid helps keep it cool just trying to help you out and see what to expect hope it helped

 

thanks bought truck what is a good up grade for fuel mileage plus UNLEASE POWER aka make it smoke with out hurting it it is stock as far as i know thanks for all the help RON
