Default new to the diesel world and need help
im looking in to buying a 1993 ford f250 7.3 idi diesel from my buddy. but does not shift in to gear but he said it was the tranny pump. wht would cause tht to fail?

bad torque converter, ran low on fliud, ran hot. could be lots of things.

thanks, i was also thinking about taking the E40D out and puting a C6 in the truck is that a good idea or not?
