new to the diesel world and need help
 

im looking in to buying a 1993 ford f250 7.3 idi diesel from my buddy. but does not shift in to gear but he said it was the tranny pump. wht would cause tht to fail? :humm:

bad torque converter, ran low on fliud, ran hot. could be lots of things.

thanks, i was also thinking about taking the E40D out and puting a C6 in the truck is that a good idea or not?

Keep the E4OD if u want to keep alright fuel economy
