Default injecter problems an head gaskets maybe

Hey yal iam in the middle of utah dessert cant get to part store workin out here got a coup/e ? Whats the signs of head gasket goin out i have no loss coolant not heating up an still have heat to my heater also i broke a injecter line some how its on driver side front one closest to head lights i had a fix of a rubber line to g3t me by til i get into town leaks a lil fuel still but hardly any power how do i tell if i got injectors out ot is it cuz of the rubber li.e an cant pressure up any help is awsome i dont want to kill my truck out here

need to replace that line asap.


why do you think it has a bad HG?


if you do need that line and cant find one, i might have it. will have to dig around.

Just thought.head.gasket.for.loss of.power but no white wmoke sooo probly not.....but injecter line is broke to num 2 cylinder had to fix it with.a.rubber hose it leaks sum also hardly any power so has me wor4ied might b able to get one friday so hope my.power comes back also lugs alot nw so i am thinking has to b that line whats sign of bad injecters

well rubber is not fixing that line. i am going to say you are still running on 7 cyl. there is up to 2000 psi in that line.

Only reason i am usen rubber line us iam at work in the middle of dese4t an cant get to town for the parts to fix it i just dont want to hurt the truck a5t all

since the line is broken, break it the rest of the way off and either fold it over with with vicegrips. you can seal that line off and it wont hurt the injection pump. look online, some places sell injector lines. cant remeber who though.

Well it was broke at the pump not injecter but i got a new line today an its a hole new truck amazine how missing 1 injecter makes the truck lose so mutch power an torq but new line an ol smoky is back in action......thanks for all the help i appreciate it
