Tore tranny apart today to put in new DTT tq, valve body and billit input shaft. After putting back all together tranny goes into reverse real hard but nothing is there when put into drive or any other gear. Any help any one could give me i would love. We tore everything back apart and all was good.

 

Let it idle in neutral long enough to fill all the passages? Fluid level ok? Both the shaft and t/c coupled?

 

Thank you. It seem like there coupled. It almost acts like the ta is locked up when put in reverse.

 

you're not running a homemade lock up switch are you? If so, that could be the problem. My brother tried to run one a year or so ago and had similar issues

 

No we got it figured out we installed the bottom plate in the input shaft up side down. Took us pulling the tranny three times but we got it. Runs like a dream now. But I tried to wire a lock up switch that I found off of tst performance web site and no luck with it working anyone got any ideas.
