Default NEED MOTOR For 95 K2500 P/U!

I have a 95 K2500 with the 6.5. The motor is junk and I paid 900 for the whole thing, I am trying to find a motor and have had no luck, I do not want to break the bank can any one let me know if they have a 6.5 or an easy transplant.....

Dont forget that a 6.2 will work in place of the 6.5.If you have your heart set on a 6.5 instead, its cheaper to buy a whole truck usually, plus you get all the extras() Make sure yours is REALLY toast. You never know, might get lucky.

yeah I know that will work but I have heard mixed things about the 6.2, so yeah I am still looking, the turbo on this truck is shot, the exhaust is clogged and yeah other than that I do not know what else is wrong with it.

yeah sure if you want a turbo that is no good. I do not know where the exhaust is plugged but the short time we had the truck running no exhaust was coming out the tail pipe . we cracked the down pipe and it all came out there so yeah talk about a project.

from what you said, I would get the turbo rebuilt, straight pipe it and drive the snot out it! If it started with the down pipe off, I would have to think the eng is OK
