I will pick up my truck around May 4th and it has an Edge chip with a 3 setting switch, I'm not sure how good this is. Does anyone have some Pro's or Con's about the Edge.

Edge has excellent customer supports, easy to use, and quite reliable. I've ran 3 different Edge chips, and only had a little trouble with one that wasn't Edge's fault. They replaced the product free of cost.

 

They run a lot better. The difference is pretty impressive. I have one and I like it. If truck doesn't have guages, I would install some for peace of mind.

Pros: extra HP, better mpg, better drivability

Cons: higher egts, and you'll be more prone to getting ok the loud pedal (or maybe that's just me. Haha)
