Default lowering egt;s

my 1998.5 dodge egt's are running 1500 and higher,, its got a edge juice with attuide... 150 hp injectors,,airdog 150.. hx 40 turbo.... a bully dog air intake.. what can be done to lower the egt's at a normal cruise its running around 1200.. but getting into it...its 1500 or more... thanks for any advice... also plans on pulling some more this year.... .. thanks...

water-meth injection would help i was runin round 800 with my 240s i got the snow mpg-max now i run round 550 crusin down the highway an hit 800 when towin a 18000lb goose neck. id start with that but your probly gonna need a to get more air probly with a bigger turbo

with 150s and edge you probably need a bigger turbo imo. the hx40 is a decent upgrade over the hx35, but not much. its more for trucks in the 50-100 hp over stock. your around 150 or more over stock. a 64/68 would realy wake the truck up, and help keep egts cool

I would think a 64/68 would be laggy.unless u have man trans. I'd go with a water/meth and 3piece exhaust.

...... thanks for all the advice... guess ill be in the market for a bigger turbo and water-meth.. is there any one brand and size of turbo i should look for. and the same with the water-meth..?

Industrial Injection, BD, ATS are a few brands. Check them out in the vender section, on the home page then put in a quote. As far as the water meth kit. I think anyone would do. I like the snow kits my self

here at our shop, we get most of our turbos from river city turbo, and havent had any problems out of any of the ones we have got to date.

How are the 64/68 running on auto's with 100-150's sticks with a programmer Ed?

with 150's a 62 would be perfect a 64 will be a laggy smoky mess I know from a buddy's experience
