Default smarty jr reccommendation

I just recently got a 07 5.9 cummins 6 speed. It already has a 5" straight pipe off the turbo, and i bought a smarty jr. It might have other mods but havent been able to check because i drive a semi and bought it then had to leave town. What are some of the first things i should check and modify. I want a good dependable truck that i can pull my 82 f150 rockcrawler but also drive anywhere. I was wondering what would be the best settings on the JR for prefrence and truck saftey. For just towing I think 40hp would be ok. Even 70 would be ok Ithink. Id for sure invest in an pyrometer and a boost guage at the very least.

Thanks for the reply. Im planning on getting an airdog 150 then a set of gauges next.

I would get the gauge first. Boost, Pyro and Rail Pressure.

definatly clutch first... I installed a valair ceramic dual disk right after my Edge because the slipping was unbearable.

Bullet proof your trans first, while running the Smarty on a low setting, then guages and an air dog
