I anyone running an ats trans. I'm on my third tranny and if this one goes out I was thinking about an ats are the worth the money. Im on my second sun coast. Last rebuild were the clutches for 4th 5th 6th went out. So I had it rebuilt with the same clutches and bumped the line pressure up 20 pounds. It's starting to expensive so I just want to do it one time and forget it.
A guy in tx is running the system trans with the co-pilot and he says its one of the best investments he's made he put it on the dyno and broke 700 HP on a trans that's supposed to only hold 500 or less here's a link to his thread on cummins forum Dodge Cummins Diesel Forum
There's a guy in Iowa that does the four speeds. these things are suposed to be bullet proof but they are pricey. He's working up a mod for the six speeds, if he gets it up and going it's a winner for sure. He won't put out anything that does not work and he gives a waranty, three years or 100,000 miles.
Smart are you running the sun coast 68rfe comp for over 6 grand and still burning them up? How long you getting out of them are they still under there one year warranty? What kind of HP you got?
