I know the new chevy LS base blocks 4.8L,5.3,6.0 etc. have these next to the Map sensor. Well everybody I know took them out do to restriction. Now I know this is Gas talk but they actually proved that these were restrictive. With them out it yielded more power and MPGs picked up. If you get your hands on one try blowing through it you will see. No way Id put one in my truck unless somebody showed me actual results.

i was on board with these things, it did help with egts, and seemed like the turbo spooled up quicker. but my fuel milage suffered with it in, and that is what is most important to me! mine was homemade, and if i made another one, i would get even more holes into it. but the 351ve i'll be bolting on shortly won't accept one (or i will have to come up with something totally different)
