i have a 2002 dodge ram with a 6 speed man. after i get the truck warmed up it it will idle really high about 1000 to 1200 rpms... ive messed with the throttle and its not sticking or anything.. i also have a hesitation while above 45... it feels like u let off and on but my foot stays in the same position.. the ilde is a hit and miss thing.. i dont know what it might be other then the apps or the fuel pressure? any help?

 

re-calibrate the APPS and see what it does

turn key on but dont staart
press throttle to floor slowly
let up slowly
turn key off
start up and see what it does

 

re cal the apps like u said seemed to have taken care of the hesitation.. not sure yet of the high idle... didnt do it the whole time i was driving the truck.. throttle felt more responsive to.. idles at 850 to 900 for now does that seem right?

 

8-900 is a good idle

drive it for awhile and see how it does, if the problem comes back then you prolly need a new APPS
