I think im gunna have to put a new pump on my truck and was wandering which one yall thought would be better....FASS or Raptor? Ive had a FASS on previous trucks and liked it pretty well. i just want the pump im not gunna go with a the filters or anything. And if i put one on will i have to upgrade my cp3?

I have a 150 fass system on my truck and didn't upgrade my cp3 until I added injectors. And my vote goes to fass, customer service is excellent and they backup their product 100%

Honestly they're six of one half a dozen of the other.

I have an airdog 150 personally, but it was just because I got a better deal on it.

Neither of them filter absolute to the 2 Microns they claim, and the best you can get for the AirDog is 3 microns absolute.

Your best bet would be to go with the Raptor or Fass pump (doesn't matter which) and then go to GDP or anybody who makes a kit that has standard sized fittings on it (1/14 I believe they are) and get a 2 micron absolute kit

There is a big write up over on CumminsForum about it, actually several.

Truely though unless you're planning something 550HP or above a stock pump or something of the like and a 2 micron kit would be just hunky dorry.

Secondly take that Puck off there till you get some better filtration, the Puck is nothing but a preasure box, they are NOOOOOO BUENO with stock filtration. Not so good on the injectors.

I've been using one of the original FASS pumps with the brushed motor, with no issues what so ever since 05. So, my vote goes to FASS. The others are good too though.
