I am new to diesels. I am a fair mechanic on the gassers but i wanna try my hand at the big boy toys. I have heard that the fast quick way to get a lil more umph outta my truck is to turn up the injection pump. If there are any suggestions or instructional pics someone can post to aide my adventure into this. They would be much appreciated. I am alson going today to buy a chilton or Haynes Manual.

Make sure you have a pyrometer before you go turning up the pump, it wont take long to turn your truck into a lawn ornament with extra fuel.

 

i turned my truck up and it helped a lot i turned mine up an 8th of a turn and it helped a lot
