Default What Am I Missing

It seems like lately there have been a bunch of new members (less than 10 posts)trying to buy DPF's off us. Is the price of scrap on these things pretty good or something. To me these guys are kinda like scam artist/trolls but thats just me. BTW I'm not upset by it or anything I'm just curious as to why these kind of posts are popping up all of a sudden.

Lotsa rare metals in them and can be recycled and reclaimed into a nice profit. We have a guy that drives from Michigan and hits all the mech shops including ours and buys every cat he can up to 75 cash a piece. If hes driving 6 hours for some cats theres alil money there

Same pricing over here too. No trouble at all with selling 'em
to the local scrap metal dealers. There's ads in all the papers.

I've bought a couple. I don't know what they're paying, but I'll buy them if the price is right too.

Guys are taking off perfectly good, low-mileage ones and list price is over $1000... I'm stockpiling good ones for getting 6.7's through smogs as much as for scrap. I wouldn't mind buying another couple really.
