barring the engine

Whats an easy way to barr the engine over?
Ive heard one way is to get a 15mm wrench and turn the engine over by turning the harmonic dampener....

you can go backwards by turning the nut on the alternator or you can use a baring tool and ratchet to do it best

I just did my KDP repair and had no issue what-so-ever with turning the motor with a 15 on the balancer bolts. I see no point in a barring tool, I even had one to ues but didn't bother.
