Has anyone heard of Red Alert Fuel Treatment from Octel Starreon? I was given 4 bottles of it today, and have never heard of it.

 

try it out and let us know how it worked for ya..myself never heard of it

I noticed that, thanks and sorry. I looked the company up and it has nothing but great things said about them. Thier "specialty" is fuel addatives. The down side is, that I can't find anything about THIS one. I normally use Diesel Service, I'm leary about trying it without finding a bit of info first. The bottle reads like DS's 9-1-1, but it also states add "this amount per gallons of fuel".

 

I dunno why but most of the new diesel treatment additives dont tell whats in there, like its a big secret or whatever

does it say how much cetane improver ??????

 

like wit said run it and let us know. if its on the market and a reputable company (with any product) i would think it cant hurt anything.
