Default front wider than back

on my 01 duramax 2500HD, the front wheels stick out further than the back... I'm sure it's functional or they wouldn't have made it that way... My thing is, i think it's soo ugly to look at... Is there some fix to this? rear spacers seem a little iffy due to the pressure being placed on the rear bearings...

I think pretty much all of the pickups are like that. I think even the dodges are alittle bit wider in the front than the back and I think it is for steering purposes

I don't like the look of the guys that put spacers on the back. It to me does not look right, to me the right look is the way it is. Plus it helps with traction off road, makes to rutts wider.
