Stranded,,how do I purge fuel lines ,,,see air in clear hose

 

The only way I know of to purge the air out of the fuel lines is to loosen the injector lines and crank the engine till fuel comes out.

 

Thanx,,that got me off the side of the road,what i did is pressurize the fuel tank with a rigged fuel cap and a line off a compressor,then I bled the primary fuel filter outlet line and then the secondary fuel filter line,sealed them back up with solid surge of fuel running through fitting,,,,and boom boom boom allthewayhome

Question ?????? On this fuel system if I find a leak in the hardened lines (metal tube),Can I cut out section and replace with heavy wall fuel hose?

 

It depends on which metal line it is. If it is a line running from the injection pump to the injector no if it is any line before the injection pump you should be able to.
