Default Hot Unlock-hot or not?

I have a 1998 24v with an edge juice w/ attitude chip. i was wondering if anyone had any numbers as to what the gains are after you get the unlock code? the truck is fairly stock other than the chip, 4" magnaflow exhaust and sometime this week a FASS 95 lift pump. is it worth the 100 bucks? Just hoping for some input fellas.

Level 0 : Stock Stock
Level 1 : 40 HP 150 ft-lbs Torque
Level 2 : 60 HP 200 ft-lbs Torque
Level 3 : 80 HP 250 ft-lbs Torque
Level 4 : 100 HP 300 ft-lbs Torque
Level 5 : 120 HP 350 ft-lbs Torque
Level 6 : 130 HP 385 ft-lbs Torque
"Edge Products allows you to upgrade your Juice/Attitude to include a level 6 power level. Power level 6 is very similar to level five on the Hot or Drag Comp. Although there is not a significant increase in peak HP when compared to level 5, the level 6 fueling curve is more aggressive in the bottom and mid range and continues to add more fuel in the higher RPM range. Note: At 3150 RPM in Hot Unlock, your total gains over level 5 power level would be 60 HP and 100 ft-lbs torque.

This is straight out of the EJWA Installation Instructions and Manual.

I would imagine so, maybe even more. My EJWA can't keep up to my Comp w/Hot unlock.

they must of updated the hot unlock info because back when I did mine site stated no hp gain but fuel more down low and more throughout the rpm range. I agree my drag comp kicked harder than the juice.

I have a feeling the results were always the same, they just didn't advertise it. I checked with a few buddies, and there manuals didn't have the "updated" increase in power either. Only the most recent manual that I have seen has the statement about the increase.

I have heard this many times as well, and even from a few Edge employees. None of my EJWA's can keep up with the Comp box I have.

RAWILLIAMS- You are from Red Deer?? I worked in and around there for a while this fall. There are a lot of awesome Trucks out west. Also, what is this edge comp box that you are talking about?

I have the hot unlock and ohhh do I love it it I can tell a huge difference from level 5 it fuels way way harder. On the bottom all the way the way to the top I would say its worth the money
