Default Quadzilla I quad question

Im really considering getting this upgrade for my adr. I was wondering if i use this with an Iphone, when i upload the settings i want for the tune can i just unhook my phone from the WIFI adr? or do i need to keep the Iphone reading the Quad while the engine is running?

If you unhook the phone while the truck is going the quadzilla will stay on the last saved tune. So say for instance your on the comp tune level 10, you pull the phone out and you will still be on that same tune. Even if you shut the truck off for a month. Your stuck on that tune untill you plug it in and change it! Hope that helped

Edit: I think with the first release of the iquad it doesn't have all the features of the regular quad. I don't believe it has the 3cylinder high idle and custom tuning. But I have heard through the grapevine on the downlow that they are trying to develope a remote start feature for the iquad... But that is just between you and me.............. and all of diesel bombers.......

None of the Quads have 3 cyl idle. Only HIGH idle. 3 cyl idle is a ECM/ECU controlled mode only. You can only turn it on with a SMARTY or @ the Dealer.

could you stack a smarty on a EJWA just to have the 3 cylinder high idle? cause that sounds like a good way to save a little diesel. or would it save any diesel at all? i havent read up on any of the smarty features since i was happy to just get a chip on my truck.

You dont have to stack the smarty to get 3 cyl idle... You can just have someone you know that has a smarty turn it on for you... Once its on its on forever. I honestly wouldnt stack. You can get a boat load of power off just the Quad ADR. It does timing and fuel! Plus you can customize your own tune!

As for the iQuad. I emailed the guys at Quadzilla yesterday and they mailed me back today... I was asking if they were going to make a DROID version for those of us with Droid phones and no or no use for iPod. He said they highly considered it and if they do it will be after the iQuad software is fully complete

This dude is 100% correct!!! The stack will actually lower top hp on the dyno and quad is not sure if they'll do the droid stuff or not!!! Excellent post weasel!!!!
