if it's an 04 i'd assume yes, but dodge does throw curveballs occasionally that make no sense

what was the difference between the SO's and HO's? Im assuming the SO's came with either an auto or an NV4500 and the HO's came with an NV5600? Im pretty sure this guy has a 6 speed with a cat, but I'll double check next time I go back home, I could be wrong and thinking of another truck

Out of curiosity why are you needing to know? Emissions testing? Not one of my strong areas since I live in OK

As of 2010, California passed a new law that all diesel pick-ups 1998 and newer have to be smogged. 50% last year and the remaining 50% this year and so on from here on out. I'll have to have mine smogged starting this year. I've been told one aspect of the test is visual, ie all the emission eq. it came with from the factory must still be there. I purchased my truck used, out of state 4 years ago and it does not have a cat. If it came with one, I'll have to put one back on.
Thanks
