Default my mack is a lemon!

its a vision with 209000k. in the last year i have replaced two egr valves and coolers. replaced the crank pos sensor twice as well as 3 eup pumps! just got done replacing the cooler and valve yesterday. got it all done and drove about 400k today and guess what...now i have a strange whine while accelerating. checked for boost leaks and found nothing. check air fittings and no change. only makes this noise while under accel.

We were running 2 Macks on side dump trailers and we tried out a Vision. Yea, we got rid of the 2 macks and brought the vision back

I found this video
did some research and found out that there was a batch of bad engines that mack had to go through on their dime.Everyone ive talked to has said Macks quality started going downhill since '99-00.

We had a 2000 Mack and a 2001. I don't remember the model numbers because I'm not that familiar with Macks but they were great to start out with, then they started lacking power, parts were getting harder and harder to get, service sucked, fuel mileage sucked, and the overall durability wasn't the same as our Internationals. So we traded them for a 2005 International 9900i, and a 2006 International 9400i

Epa is the reason the 12.7 60 series, Cummins N-14 and Cat 3406 are history now right? I thought all those were good engines in there own way.
