Adjustments should only be performed when the engine coolant temperature is less than 60 °C (140 °F).

 

The engines like the tighter tolerances for top end and looser tolerances for low end.

 

I run either 8 intake 18 exhaust for stock trucks.

and 10 intake 20 exhaust for modified.

Unless they have a custom cam. Then things can change.
