Hi.
i have a Silverado 2500HD 6.6Dmax LB7(model 2002). there is a pipe on right side(pas.side) in front of oil pan. out from the pipe comes exhaust or some, black/gray smoke. do some one know why?. when running idle i night/dark i can see smoke in headlights and smell of exhaust inside of car, also miles per gallon is little bit more then usually.

Is it on the back of the side of the engine block

 

No in front on the engine block on right side,it's on the corner of oli pan strait down from alternator, the pipe is in same height as the oil pan,

 

If its a california emissions vehicle it could be a egr valve.

 

i think it´s california version, do you think that EGR valve is stuck?

 

Yes thats what it sounds like. You can either take it off and try and clean it or take it to a mechanic or dealership for the same... or you can do like a blocker plate and a efi live tune to take care of the codes

 

i have none trouble codes. only smoke and lack of power
