6.5 lifting head
I have 93 6.5 in my 1982 k30 and want to make more power, and i know that if i turn the pump up much im gonna start lifting/cracking heads. Is it worth getting arp head studs for it or not. Also i heard that 6.2 heads are better than the heads on a 6.5 and i have a 6.2, should i change the heads or is it not worth what i would gain. Thanks in advanced for any advice.
i wouldn't go past 14 psi with stock headbolts. your going to need a boost gauge and pyro before you turn up the fuel. some 6.2 heads have bigger valves but injectors could be different so watch out for that. use 6.5 gaskets though whatever you do.
