i have a buddies edge evolution on my 02 and i was driving it and went to clear a code and the programmer got stuck on the menu and wont turn off or respond to any of the buttons... i dont have the manuals becuse im borrowing it i didnt know if it was safe to disconnect it from the obd2 port i just dont wanna fry my pcm... and by the way the truck runs and drives now

 

just unplug it and plug it back in, mine use to do that too
