Default lmm low fuel rail pressure

Well ladies and germs, i have just blown a piston in my 08 gmc, i am the 3rd one that i know of. it all started with a low fuel rail pressure code. i did all the dealers in several states told me to do. Injectors, fuel filters, air filters, fuel lines, cleaned the tank. Nothing worked!!! I then took it apon myself to try to figure out why my truck would throw a code when ever the tempurature was over 65/70 degrees and i work the truck. on real hot days it would throw the code before i got out of the driveway. I put bigger turbo, intercooler, cold air intake, tuner that was never set above 2 for towing. well once to se what it did. Now i find out that its the induction system and was told that the only thing that would fix it is a banks cowl, or induction system. whish id known sooner. I will never know because i am selling the truck as is. ive spent ovar 10k on the truck trying to figure out why, not to mention what i lost because the truck was in the shop for at least 6 months total time. I am so pissed at gm, i will never buy another one. the only reason i quit bying dodge is because the motor is too much for the drive train and i was tired of replacing rear ends and transmissions. Now i know GM knows what the problem is, and I KNOW they Havnt fixed it in the new 2011, so i suggest you all stick with dodge!! and i dont have to say anything about the 6-leakers (ford 6.0) Gm before 07.5 is a good buy.

Sorry to hear that. But you must of gotten one the few basket case trucks. With out seeing the truck I can't figure it out either. I assume you got P0087 Low rail pressure. Usually it's a bad FRP sensor. I don't know if the "stealer" replaced that.

Induction problems were only present on 04.5-05 LLY engine, LMM never had this issue, what tuner were you running, and did you still have the DPF intact?

Duramaxes ARE comparable to a CUMMINS, ask me how i know
