You want a chip, not a programmer.

Edge waste of time.

They seem to be pretty decent for the money and being none adjustable. If you want something adjustable on the fly you can do a 6 position chip like a ts, dp, swamps etc.

Nothing wrong with a edge tuner, there not that expensive, work good and are pretty easy for a novice.

Yes, a chip will give you more options, but there is nothing wrong with a tuner.

Never much cared for them personally. I've heard lots of high EGT reports from Edge tuners as well.

If you can get an edge cheap, then go for it, but you can pick up a chip fairly cheap as well.

I like TS performance better just because of their reputation, they were the first to make a 6 pos for the obs strokers, i think the others are imitations. go thru xtreme diesel or KT performance can get you a custom tuned TS chip for about $300. you gettin that stroker together??

Cost wise, A standard TS performance chip and Edge are comparable. The TS chip will offer an adjust on the fly style tunes. However the Edge reads and clears codes as well as adds a little kick. If you plan on continuing to build your truck, then i personally would get the chip instead of the Edge. This way you can send it to get reburned for whatever new mods you do.
