Default Tire/wheel question

I went from 285 70 17 michelin's on stock wheel to moto metal 20's the skull lookin wheels with Goodyear wrangler at/s 275/65 r20 e rated. So far I'm a lil over 6,000 miles on them. And I've hated the tires every mile. Truck just seems to wonder all over the road. Besides a bounce the old tires had they were great and truck was so easy to handle and Actually drove straight. It has been a rough battle with these. I have to blame the tires. Was perfect until I got em. People at tire place says that's just the way it is going to a bigger tire and wheel. Something about how it throws all the stuff off. Please tell me it's something mechanical I should check or better yet that the tires suck like I've heard from others about Goodyear being squishy.

Are they a real deep cut tread compared to like an all terrain or highway tread? If they are i would say your experiencing what i call tread wander. It is a killer to drive with if we are talking about the same effect where your constantly correcting the truck and it finds every grove in the road.

I wouldn't say it's really deep but prob lil deeper than reg street tires. So it's prob just the tread still being a lil high and new I guess. Do all new ones do that if u get all terrain? Would u suggest high air pressure or about 50-60? Max is 90 psi. What would y'all suggest besides goodyear next time? I'll never get anymore of them.
