Myself personally think that 2nd gen cummins are ultimately the best trucks out there, there easy to mod, dependable, and overall fun trucks to mess around with

[1998.5 Cummins, 8 inch blacked out stack, 12 inch lift, 38 inch super swampers, BANKS stacked on top of a TST, bd diesel auto tranny.]

Very true but then you also gotta deal with replacing tons of stuff as it goes wrong but I do agree they are fun. Looks like you have a sick truck!

Yeah I love my truck so much I'm worried I might drive it forever and I hope there is a way to make it ride smoother

I've had constant oil leak issues and lost 5th gear twice, but mine has always started, even well below zero and always got me there and home again. It tows very stable and strong, just wish I had a 4 door cab for hauling everybody along. I'm looking for a newer truck, but plan to keep this as my airport runner, huntin' muddin' rig. It's just been too good to me to get rid of.

That is very true so has mine I have always thought it would be cool to put a 12 valve in a 3rd gen. What do y'all think of that?? Best of both worlds killer engine and better suspension and everything
