im looking to do some upgrades on my 4r100 without fully tearing the trans apart and spending a butt load of money. im really just looking for a quicker shift. but i dnt want it to slam into gear due to the fact that its my daily driver an still do alot of around town driving. what im really looking for is someone to point me in the right direction for either a good vavle body upgrade or a good shift kit. thanks for any input

 

BTS valve body would do you good or a valve body from Racer X, along with a larger trans cooler like the tru cool from Dieselsite. With a good valve body and larger cooler, you will be helping the tranny a ton.

a torque converter would help a bunch also, its not hard but you do have to unbolt the trans from the block and such, but a bigger cooler and that valve body would do good for ya

 

anyone know of a good rebuild kit i think my clutch packs are going and i just want to beef it up some. i plan on a triple disc converter and a lager trans cooler but what kit would help me out beefing up the trans. i dont have any extreme mods, its my everyday driver.
