Default need some help have some ?S

i have a stock 97 powerstroke the throw out bearing is going out or i think it is it is making a squeeling noise but when u push the cluth in it stops. now i need a new clutch anyway beccause it grinds alil.. but we cant get the tranny out yet and i was wondering what clutch it had in it i was told there were three types it could have? anyone helpthanks

As far as I know there is only one type of clutch in a powerstroke, but there is two types of flywheels a dual mass, and solid. As far as the grinding goes you might just need to bleed the clutch cuz mine was doing the same thing about 2 weeks ago and bleeding stopped the grind. The squeeling now that probably is the throwout bearing, but make sure 100 perceny its not a u-joint or somthing else. also make sure the tranny is bolted in tight I had a chevy squeeling once and it was just loose and moving a little.
