But BAE Operations in Houston, Texas, has changed that by designing headers for Cummins and Power Stroke diesels.

headers hold more air. which equals slower spool up time

 

Every header I've ever seen was designed to flow better, but then again I don't know everything or claim to, like some

they flow better but there's more air space so more air needed to reach the desired pressure
