Iam going to buy crew cab longbox 06-08 and i am not shore what to buy gm or dodge ihad a LBZ and i have a12v but what probs do the 6.7's have and how is dodges new 6 speed trans hold up against an allison1ooo

In my opinion I would go with the gm. I think they have a lot better body and interior compared to dodges.

It will also be easier to get a lot of power out of the duramax compared to the 6.7.

And I believe they just came out with a suncoast 68re for the 6.7 dodges.

Did you sell the 06 you have already or are you just looking to get something a little newer?

Find yourself a 07 Dodge with a 5.9 in it then you wont have to worry bout emissions stuff. Sorry bout the D-max

The LMM D-max and the 6.7 cummins are both great trucks after the emissions are deleted. Yes you can get quick hp easier out of the D-max but in the long run the cummins will take more with less money into it.
The 68re is just as strong as the alison in my mind. I love both power plants, and both trucks. But with the little one I decided to go with the mega cab. Nothing out there matches its room and comfort of long travels.
