Does it start back up fine? Is the priming pump hard to push after it stops? The vin tells you which motor the 8th digit 1=LB7 or 2=LLY.

Did he send you more info than I got? 04 is LB7 and 04.5 is LLY only way to tell is the 8th digit in the VIN.

Def check the underhood fuse box for any blown ones. Can't remember what fuse we used for his kill switch for his emergency shutoff but with that fuse out the truck will only crank and not run.

my 2001 was having the same problems and i couldn't figure it out to save my life it turned out that my return lines were shot my fuel rail pressure was only at 1400 i believe it is supposed to be at 4000. but anyway it was the return and once i got that fixed it ran great. but was your truck going into limp mode before or were any dtcs showing up?
