hello. I would just like to here other peoples opinions on which engine sounds better straight piped. 94-98 12 valve cummins vs 1998-2002 24 valve cummins. I personally like the way the 12 valve sounds, but thats just me.

 

12 valve!! Alot deeper and nicer sounding 24 valve isn't that deep but louder because of higher noise so 12 valve fo shoo

 

I like the 12v the best! I've have had all 3 12, 24vp and 24cr and like I said 12v beats the others hands down.

 

I like all of them. But i do like the deep 12 valve rumble

 

I have to go with 12 valve too... pretty bad though when you own a 24 valve..

12 valve! feel like I'm driving a log truck sometimes

 

12v imo beats the 98-02 24v on sound easily

(however i kind prefer a cr straight piped).

 

i like my 24 with 6in stacks it gets a good rumble but i do think the 12s have a deeper tone but i dont have much basis for comparison

 

how bout a p-pumped 24V. That one I really want to buy sounds freakin sweet
